  • Rakuten needed more distribution coverage to meet customer demand.

  • Fukuoka prefecture in Japan has minimal land for logistics. GLP’s strong network helped secure land within the prefecture to develop a build-to-suit warehouse of 40,908 sqm.

PROJECT BACKGROUND

  • Well located respectively from Fukuoka Airport, Fukuoka CBD and Fukuoka Port, and near multiple expressways, this project allows for wide range distribution throughout Kyusyu area and coverage of the whole Fukuoka CBD.

  • Due to limited supply of modern logistics facilities in Fukuoka, vacancy rates have decreased demonstrating robust demands in the submarket.

  • This facility adopts an earthquake resistance structure even in areas with few earthquakes.
